Service areas: artificial turf, concrete, and pavers across Ventura County and the Santa Barbara coast
Our service areas reach about 50 miles out from Ventura County's coast, where VC Turf is based: the beach cities, the Heritage Valley farm towns, the Conejo Valley, and up the coast to Goleta. Pick your town below.
From Goleta on the coast to Simi Valley in the east county
Based in Ventura, and the ground changes from town to town
The crew loads in Ventura and drives out from there. Oxnard, Port Hueneme, and Camarillo are the short runs. Santa Paula, Fillmore, and Piru sit up Highway 126. The Conejo Valley and Simi Valley are the east county runs over the grade. Ojai is up the 33, and Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, and Goleta are the long haul up the 101. Same crew, same turf, concrete, and paver services in every one of them.
What changes is the ground under the job. A base built for sandy coastal soil is the wrong base for inland clay, and a slab that works on a flat Oxnard lot needs a different plan on an Ojai hillside. Somis, Santa Rosa Valley, and the Heritage Valley towns add bigger yards, longer driveways, and ground next to fields, where grading, drainage, and gopher mesh matter most. These are the differences that show up most often in our estimates.

Ventura and the coast
Short runs from the shopVentura
Our home base. Front-yard turf conversions, driveway replacements, and patios where sandy soil and salt air decide the base.
Oxnard
Turf conversions on flat, sandy lots that drain fast, plus a steady run of concrete driveways and paver patios.
Heritage Valley, up Highway 126
Farm towns, bigger lotsOjai and the Santa Barbara coast
Hillsides and beach lotsOjai
Hillside lots with hot, dry summers: retaining walls, terraced pavers, and turf that stays put on a slope.
Carpinteria
Beach-side yards where salt air and sand shape the turf base, the paver edge restraints, and the hardware.
Conejo Valley and the east county
HOAs, heat, and clayThousand Oaks
HOA-heavy neighborhoods where turf, driveways, and patios get reviewed first. We build to the approved plan and colors.
Newbury Park
HOA lots that back onto hillsides: turf out front, planter walls and drainage out back to keep the slope where it is.
Westlake Village
Architectural-review communities: paver driveways, putting greens, and turf that matches what the board signed off on.
Moorpark
Hot inland summers on clay: turf picked for heat, patios on a compacted base that handles the swell, and drainage for winter rain.
Simi Valley
Some of the hottest summers we work in, on clay: turf that takes the sun, concrete with joints planned for movement, shady-side patios.

How a job in Goleta or Simi Valley gets scheduled
The estimate visit works the same everywhere: we come out, measure, and walk the yard with you. Distance shows up in how the build days are planned. A job an hour from the shop is set up so the crew, the material, and any dumpster or delivery land in the same window, instead of the crew driving out twice for a half day.
Once the estimate is signed, we order material and set a start date with you when it is on hand. Rain, a delivery that slips, or an HOA approval that has not come back can move that date, and we tell you as soon as we know.
Build days are grouped
Demolition, base, and finish work are stacked into consecutive days where the job allows, so a far yard is not left open between visits.
Material rides with the crew
Turf rolls, pavers, base rock, and concrete are timed to the build days, so material arrives when the crew is ready to use it.
One number, every town

Service area questions we get on the phone
Usually, yes. The 18 towns above are where most of our work is. Call with your address and what you want done, and we will tell you on that call.
Every estimate is priced for the specific yard, and the drive is one of the things it accounts for, along with the ground, the access, and the material. You see the whole number before anything is scheduled.
The finished turf or patio looks the same. What is under it does not. Sandy coastal ground and inland clay call for different base depths, hillsides need walls and drainage first, and the hottest inland yards get turf chosen for heat. That is why the estimate happens at your house.
We give you the layout, the turf or paver product, and the colors for the submittal. You send it to the board, and we hold the start date until the approval comes back.
